*FINELY ENGRAVED BSW (SIMSON) OVER-UNDER EJECTOR RIFLE/ SHOTGUN WITH DOUBLE SHOTGUN BARRELS AND KAHLES SCOPE, RETAILED BY STAMPFLI OF LUZERN, WITH CASE.SN 54921. Cal. 12 ga/ 8x57R. 24-1/2″ Rifle/ shotgun bbls with full length rib fitted with folding rear sight and claw bases are marked with Stampfli name and address on top bbl. 29-1/2″ OU shotgun bbls with full length matted rib, are marked “SIMSON SUHL” on rib, and with Stampfli markings on left of mono-bloc. Coin finished sideplated double Kersten Blitz action with non-automatic tang safety and double triggers (front set), is finely engraved with very well cut open shaded scroll surrounding vignettes of game; alert roebuck on bottom of action, left lockplate portrays pointer retrieving bird while a pair of rabbits scamper off in foreground. Right lock depicts a fox with grouse in mouth as three of its cohorts flush in foreground. Fences and reinforcing bolsters are deep relief carved with exceptionally well rendered oak leaves. Relatively plain European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/4″ over composition Simson buttplate. Stock features skip line checkering and right hand cheekpiece. Matching bottom portion of 3-pc ejector forend with Deeley release services both bbl sets. Kahles Helia C 1.5 – 6 X rail scope with 30 mm tube and crosshair and three point reticle is in claw rings. Rifle/ Shotgun BBls: Bore diameter: top -.731. Bore restrictions: top – .037 (extra full). OU Rifle shotgun bbls :Bore diameter: top -.724, bottom – .724. Bore restrictions: top – .040 (extra full), bottom – .030 (full). Wall thickness: top – .035, bottom – .036. Drop at heel: 2-13/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Cast about 1/4″ off. Weight: 6 lbs. 12 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. Green vinyl case with tan leather trim is lined in green velvet. CONDITION: Excellent, close to new, with only a few light handling marks in all finishes. Bores are excellent.
