SN 63746. Cal. 16/ 16/ 7x57R. 25″ Bbls with full length rib have pop-up rear sight and are fitted with claw scope bases. Right bbl is fitted with sub-caliber insert for 22 long rifle. Lightweight Blitz Dural action with ornamental sideplates and Krieghoff rifle bbl cocking slide on top tang, features pin type cocking indicators, crossbolt third fastener, side clips, bushed strikers, and dbl triggers (front set). Action and sideplates are engraved with full coverage shaded acanthus with game scenes on plates; stag and hind are in alpine meadow on left side, with roebuck and doe in open woodlands on right. Krieghoff nomenclature is on bottom of action. Trigger guard is of horn. Strikingly fiddle figured and nicely streaked oil finished European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock with right hand cheekpiece and skip line checkering measures 14″ over ribbed composition buttplate. Matching small forend has Deeley release. A Hensoldt Diavari – D 1.5 – 6X rail scope with three post reticle is fitted with claw mounts. Bore diameter: left -.670, right – .677. Bore restrictions: left – .032 (full), right – .025 (mod). Wall thickness: left – .035, right – .030. Drop at heel: approx 3-1/4″, drop at comb: approx 1-15/16″. Neutral cast. Weight without scope: 6 lbs. 8 oz. LOP: 14″. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refinished. Bbls retain approx 85% orig blue. Dural finish still bright.
