BRACE OF DERINGER PERCUSSION PISTOLS.1) GEO GILLESPIE PERC DERRINGER.Cal. 44. Overall 6″. Breech 7/8″. 2-3/4″ bbl. Nice condition Deringer marked Gillespie on lock and breech. The pistol has German silver mounts. Trigger guard and lock are engraved. George D.H. Gillespie worked in New York from 1848-1870. Bbl finish in plain browning without striping. Six groove rifling. CONDITION: Pistol is in fine condition with all orig parts. Mechanics are fine. Lock is crisp and tight. 2) DERINGER PERC PISTOL. Cal. 44. Overall 7-3/4″. Breech 3/4″. 4″ bbl. This percussion Deringer pistol is marked “DERINGER PHILADEL’A” on its lock and on the top flat of breech. The left hand side flat of the breech is worn smooth. Pistol has German silver mounts with an iron trigger guard. The pistol has no ramrod entrance furrel. Many copyists used an exact copy of Henry Deringer’s name stamp or a close imitation. CONDITION: Pistol is in fair condition. Mechanics need attention. Lock does not work properly. Hammer is a replacement.
