*SCARCE A.H. FOX HE GRADE SUPER FOX 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN.

SN 30595. Cal. 12 ga. 32″ Chromox fluid steel bbls with 3″ chambers, chokes full/full. Full length matted top rib with steel front bead. Water table with “H” marking, SN, “Fox Proof” Stamp, “Barrels not guaranteed-see tag”. Double triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. End knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern with 13-15/16″ LOP over lined HRBP which is probably an older replacement. Splinter forearm with Deeley release checkered in 2-point pattern. Receiver is nicely wave border pattern engraved and engraved on sides “Ansley H. Fox”. Bore diameter: left -.735, right – .736. Bore restrictions: left – .043 (full), right – .046 (full). (Constriction starts approx 4″ behind muzzles, typical of Becker bored guns. Wall thickness: left – .036, right – .034. Drop at heel: 2-13/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Weight: 8 lbs. 9oz. LOP: 13-15/16″. CONDITION: Good. Appears as found. Bbls retain approximately 80% orig blue with scattered light spotting and a couple of areas of beginning corrosion toward muzzle. Buttstock and forearm retain approximately 80% orig finish with scattered handling marks and minor scratches, small repair near toe where it was once mounted for swing swivel. Receiver retains approximately 50% orig case color with beginning corrosion on bottom of frame at right side and on breach balls. Bores are very good with a couple of old repaired dents that are still visible and beginning pitting ahead of chambers. Mechanics are fine.
