FINE MAJORELLE ART NOUVEAU WALNUT BANQUET TABLE.

Louis Majorelle (French, 1859-1926). Rectangular top with molded edge, raised on square molded, tapered foliate carved legs terminating in square pad feet. Beneath center of table top is fitted a pair of bulbous cylindrical legs which drop down as central supports when the table is extended with any combination of the five original table leaves. Each leaf fitted with conforming apron. SIZE: 29″ t x 50-1/2″ l x 51″ w closed. 29″ t x 51″ w x 132″ fully extended with 5 leaves. Each leaf measures: 51″ x 14″. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Top with minimal and minor surface scratches and minor abrasions. Table retains fine French polish surface. All original leaves intact as noted. 52574-1 (4,000-6,000) – Lot 1187
