LOT OF 2 UNASSOCIATED 19TH CENTURY SWORDS.

1). 39″ overall, 33-1/4″ blade. 1850 dated Austrian cavalry saber with no scabbard, iron hilt not unlike some that were imported into the Confederacy.
2). 32″ overall, 25-1/2″ wide blade with 2 fullers, brass oval cross guard. Possibly Chinese shagreen or snake skin cover over wood scabbard. Brass mounted scabbard and brass ovoid pommel with green cord wrap. CONDITION: Both swords fair to good overall. Blades are gray with pitting. Leather grip on Austrian sword is about 90% intact.
