INDIAN WAR ERA LIGHT ARTILLERY SABER RIG.

This is an interesting rig consisting of a 1880 vintage sword belt complete with both hangers and over the shoulder strap attached to an 1854 dated Ames Artillery saber and Single Action Army holster. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Sword has gray blade with good markings. Scabbard fits well but is for Civil War era saber with throat. Leather belt, holster and straps are all sound with large areas of scuffing and flaking. Eagle sword belt plate is also very good. 52564-2 JS (1,500-3,000) – Lot 3231
