1) SPRINGFIELD M1. SN 5318128. Cal. .30-06 with 24″ bbl. Correct 1954 national match M1 Garand with national match front and rear sights, scarce national match cylinder, correct national match bbl. Charging handle and USGI bedded stock with SN in stock channel as well as on floor plate of trigger assembly. Sear has not been polished. External SN matches as noted above. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish extremely fine with over 95% original arsenal reworked finish on metal parts. Stock and wood very fine with correct proof on left side with some dings and handling marks. Mechanics are crisp, bore is extremely fine, brilliant and bright. C&R 2) SPRINGFIELD M1. SN 4384038. Cal. .30-06 with 24″ bbl. Standard M1 Garand by Springfield Armory. Arsenal refurbished with SA marked bbl dated 1965. No proofs on stock except for “P” within a square on pistol grip. External SN only serialized part. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish fine with about 90% arsenal refinish with a more dull gray finish on cylinder and at high points.
