TIFFANY STUDIOS ABALONE INKWELL.

Tiffany Studios inkwell has grape cluster design with inlaid discs of abalone shell representing the grapes. The grapes are surrounded by cast design of stylized grape leaves and vines. The bronze inkwell is finished in a bright gold patina and retains original bronze insert and also comes with a replacement glass insert which is smaller than would have been originally used. Signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 1157″. SIZE: 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4”. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Upstate New York estate. CONDITION: Wear to patina on lid and top of inkwell, otherwise very good. 52485-6 (600-900) – Lot 1455
