*SPECTACULAR UPGRADED L.C. SMITH DELUXE GRADE 20 GAUGE SHOTGUN.

SN 6330E. Cal. 20 ga. 28″ Armor steel bbls, 3″ chambers (lengthened). Chokes MOD/MOD. Full length matted top rib with ivory front bead marked at breech “L.C. SMITH DeLuxe” surrounded by floral scroll engraving with gold oak leaf and acorn pattern. Muzzles with small gold oak leaf inlay. Gold plated Hunter One trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock, checkered in 2-point pattern with 14-1/8″ LOP over thin lined HRBP. Beavertail forearm is near fully checkered with banjo roll-type release that is engraved in floral scroll pattern. Receiver is beautifully engraved in floral scroll pattern with abundant gold inlay that include gold setters in detailed game scene along with gold grouse on bottom, gold woodcock on right and quail at front of lockplates. Multi-colored gold oak leaf and acorn pattern extends to top of frame, breech balls, top lever and gold “S” in front of safety. Forearm iron with multi-colored gold oak leaf and acorn engraving. Top lever is pierced and trigger guard edges are sculpted in true Deluxe Grade pattern. Virtually all metal surfaces are engraved in tasteful floral scroll engraving. All visible SNs match. Weight: 6lbs 2oz. PROVENANCE: The Forrest G. Rhodes collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine as totally customized. This gun retains virtually all of its custom finish to both wood and metal with only minor handling marks in wood. Mechanics are crisp. Bores are bright and shiny with minor shot striation in front of chambers. A fantastic high art L.C. Smith custom.
