RARE PARKER GRADE 2, 12 GAUGE HAMMER SHOTGUN WITH ORIGINAL FOLSOM TRAP BUTTPLATE.

SN 38388. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ Damascus bbl. 2-5/8″ chambers. Full length Damascus top rib. No. 1 frame. Dbl triggers, extractors, no safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern with nickel shield on top of wrist and 14-1/4″ LOP over extremely rare “The Parker Trap” HRBP. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and steel tip checkered in typical Grade 2 pattern. Receiver is engraved in typical Grade 2 pattern with birds and light scroll engraving and marked “Parker Bros” on sides. All visible SN’s match. WEIGHT: 7 lbs, 10 ozs. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain approximately 80% visible Damascus pattern with some type of overcoat that gives them a dark brown appearance, however, this could easily be remedied. Buttstock and forearm are quite nice, checkering is crisp with minor handling marks and retain more than 95% orig finish. The extraordinarily rare buttplate is quite crisp. Action with traces of orig case color appears untouched with some minor staining on bottom of frame. Bores are bright and shiny with areas of scattered minor pits. Mechanics are fine. This is easily one of the nicest Parker Trap Hammer guns examined by this cataloger, and the scarcity of the buttplate should not be understated. 52419-6 JSL (3,500-5,500) – Lot 2521
