*EXCEPTIONAL HIGH ORIGINAL CONDITION L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE SINGLE BARREL TRAP 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN.SN 129957. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ chamber. Full choke, full length matted raised ventilated top rib with twin ivory beads. Left side of bbl marked “L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY TRAP”. Blued trigger, automatic ejector, no safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in 2-point pattern with checkered side panels and 13-7/8″ LOP over replacement Pachmayr waffle pad. Trap forearm with Schnable tip checkered in 3-point pattern with roll-type release. Receiver is beautifully engraved with open scroll in Specialty pattern with setter on left and quail on right. All visible SNs match. Weight: 8lbs 4oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine and collector quality. Bbl retains approximately 97% orig blued finish with just a few scattered light handling marks. Receiver retains virtually all of its vivid orig case color only showing some high point edge wear and beginning toning towards bottom of frame. Buttstock and forearm are excellent, retaining nearly all of their orig finish with only scattered light handling marks and scratches. Right side of buttstock with some very minor lifting in finish, pad is a recent replacement. Top lever well right of center. This gun has been fired but remains in exceptional orig condition. Mechanics are crisp, bore is brilliant and shiny. It would be extremely difficult to improve on the condition of this L.C. Smith SBT!
