1) WALTHER 1936 OLYMPIA. SN 8912O. Cal. 22LR. 4-5/8″ bbl. Standard markings on left and right sides of slide. Eagle/N proof on right side of bbl and slide. Checkered wood grips. Unmarked plastic bottom mag. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very fine, showing extremely little wear. All markings crisp and sharp. Wood grips have minimal handling marks with sharp checkering. The only drawback on this gun is a very small area of pitting at bottom right edge of frame where it meets the top of the grip, very small matching chip in grip. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. C&R 2) WALTHER 1936 OLYMPIA. SN 7700O. Cal. 22. 7-1/2″ bbl. Standard markings on left and right sides of slide. Crown/N proof marks on right side of bbl and slide. All external numbers match. Matching wood bottomed mag. Checkered wood grips. Two frame mounted weights, marked “18” on right side. Bbl weight is unmarked. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Fine condition, with finish wear on high points and light handling marks. Markings are clear. Wood grips are very fine with sharp checkering and most of the varnish. Top grip screw appears to be a replacement. Excellent bore, bright with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical condition.
