1) WALTHER SPORTMODELL. SN 31836W. Cal. 22. 25-1/2″ bbl. Standard markings. Crown BUG proof. Has an on left side of bbl in front of Crown N & Nitro marks. Sgl shot. All external numbers matching. Stock has been duffle cut under rear band and repaired. Orig cleaning rod. Plastic trigger guard. Mauser 98K style stock made with bayo lug. PROVENANCE: Session Two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton collection. CONDITION: Very fine, with a majority of finish, light handling marks. All markings clear. Stock is good with numerous dings and handling marks, cut as noted. Bore is fine, bright with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. C&R 2) WALTHER SPORTMODELL. SN 23021. Cal. 22. 25-1/2″ bbl. Standard markings on receiver and bbl. There is an eagle on left side of bbl just before Crown N & Nitro marking. Sgl shot. Mauser 98 style stock made without bayonet lug. Stock has “165” stamped in either side toward buttplate. Also marked at top and bottom of buttplate. Orig cleaning rod. PROVENANCE: Session Two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton collection. CONDITION: Very fine with most of the orig finish, some light wear and handling marks. All markings clear. Stock is fine with light handling marks. There is a piece broken out on the left side of plastic trigger guard. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. All external numbers matching.
