*PAIR OF HAMMERLI TARGET PISTOLS.1) HAMMERLI OLYMPIA. SN O-2557. Cal. 22S. 8-1/4″ bbl. Marked on left side of slide “Lenzburg Hammerli Walther Switzerland Olympia-Pistole”. Marked on right side of slide “CAL.22 short”. All external numbers matching. Bbl and muzzle break both marked “38” on bottom. Alloy slide. Steel frame. Checkered wood grips. Dark brown plastic bottomed mag has “967” on the spine. This is essentially a postwar version of the Walther 1936 Olympia pistol. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Good condition. Slide retains most of the orig black anodized finish. Frame and bbl show significant finish wear. The top of bbl has been cleaned. Grips show moderate wear, especially to the varnish. Bore is good with two areas of roughness and strong rifling. Mechanics are fine. C&R 2) HAMMERLI OLYMPIA. SN 0-969. Cal. 22S. 8-3/4″ bbl. Standard markings. All external numbers match. Alloy slide. Checkered wood grips. Equipped with set of bbl weights, comes with set of frame weights. Two matching mags. Accompanied by older leatherette covered luggage case. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Fine, showing light handling marks. All markings clear. Grips show minor handling marks. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Case is dirty with scuff marks.
