*WALTHER 1936 1ST MODEL OLYMPIA 22LR PISTOL WITH FULL SET OF BARREL WEIGHTS.

SN 5615. Cal. 22LR. 8-5/8″ bbl. Standard markings on left and right sides of slide. Crown/N proof marks. Dural trigger and hammer in the white. Checkered front grip strap. Extended rear frame. Checkered wood grips. Wood bottomed mag. Gun is equipped with a full set of bbl weights, all of which but one have the number 46 on the left side. The top weight, which mounts to the gun, appears to have been modified at some point. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Good condition, showing significant finish touch-up with cold blue. Markings are clear. Grips are good, showing wear with a minor chip out of the front bottom of each side. Color of wood at bottom of mag is significantly lighter than the grips. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Mechanics need attention. Slide is difficult to withdraw and will not go back all the way, requires forceful assistance to close. Hammer and trigger work well. All external numbers matching, other than weights, which are #46. 52342-52 GER (600-800) C&R – Lot 2409
