NSN. Cal. 60. (.655) 10-1/4″ Octagon Damascus bbl with under rib, is engraved “LONDON” on top flat. Patent breech with silver lined touch hole and two platinum bands is fitted with U-notch rear sight. Breech iron is scroll engraved. Engraved lock with flat plate high breasted serpentine cock, fully waterproof pan, and bridled frizzen with roller is marked “HOLLIS” in oval brass poincon. Trigger is set. Steel trigger guard with finger spur has pineapple finial. Checkered grip has silver oval and band on bottom, matching silver oval on left side, silver nose cap, and shaped silver escutcheons for captive side bolt holding bbl. Ramrod has brass tip and tail with steel worm under cap. CONDITION: Good as refinished. Bbl with excellent re-brown, has good definition of pattern. Lock has re-hardening over pitting. Trigger guard is a gray brown patina. Stock lightly refinished, sound, but with a few cracks along bbl channel. Tip of saw handle has repair.
