SN 3285. Cal. .500/ .450 BPE. 28″ Tapered round bbl is marked with Henry name and address on top. Plain finished case hardened action with back action lock on left side is engraved “PATENT” and “No 1015” (use number) on top of receiver ring. “Alexr Henry” is on lock. SN is on trigger guard tang. Nicely figured straight grip stock measures 14″ over steel buttplate. Classically shaped forend without usual groove attaches to bbl with side bolt. Included with rifle are some loaded ammunition, dies, and bullets. PROVENANCE: Ledger page with specifications. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl retains over 95% orig blue. Action and lock with 80% orig color, considerably faded, with some flecks and marks. Stocks retain most of their orig oil finish with numerous marks and dings. Bore is excellent.
