*MARLIN MODEL 1898 C GRADE TRAP PUMP SHOTGUN.

SN 68344. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbl. Choke FULL. Plain steel bbl with steel front bead. Fancy flowing grained European walnut stock checkered in 3-point pattern with lovely Creedmore grip and 13-5/8″ LOP over orig Marlin lined HRBP. Forearm checkered in 3-point pattern. Receiver is nicely engraved with 5 ducks in flight on left, 2 pigeons on right, and about 30-40% light scroll coverage. SN stamped in engraved floral pattern in bottom of frame. WEIGHT: 7 lbs, 7 ozs. PROVENANCE: Estate collection of Russell Grinnell. CONDITION: Very fine. Appears totally orig and collector quality. Bbl retains approximately 90-95% beautifully toned orig blue finish. Receiver retains approximately 90% orig blue finish, there is one small area of minor corrosion near trigger guard. Hammer and trigger guard with approximately 90% blue. Mag tube with approximately 60% orig blue. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with minor handling marks and retain approximately 90-95% of their orig finish. Bore is bright and shiny.
