RARE PARKER BROTHERS $200 GRADE LIFTER ACTION SHOTGUN.SN 3317. Cal. 10 ga. 29-1/2″ Damascus bbls. Chambered for brass. Full length Damascus top rib with brass front bead. Dbl triggers, extractors, no safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in flowing wave pattern with tear drip behind locks and 14-1/8″ LOP over skeleton steel buttplate. Replacement splinter forearm with wedge fastener and steel tip. Receiver is nicely scroll engraved with game scenes at front of lock, bust of dogs head on bottom and trigger guard bow with flying goose in marsh scene. Fences are nicely sculpted with elongated tear drop. All visible SN’s match. WEIGHT: 8 lbs, 11 oz. CONDITION: Good as partially restored. Bbls retain 50-60% browned Damascus pattern with pinprick corrosion on left tube and at muzzles, bbls shortened to current length. Bores are good with some minor pitting. Forearm is very well done modern replacement as is forearm hardware. Buttstock is very good with scattered handling marks and hunting bumps, retains about 70% restored finish, checkering has been re-cut. Action has toned gray. Top of action may have some cold blue applied though engraving is fairly sharp throughout except for trigger guard where it has thinned. Mechanics are fine.
