PAIR OF EUROPEAN PERCUSSION PISTOLS CONVERTED FROM FLINT.SN NSN/NSN. Cal. 59. 5″ Deeply swamped octagon bbls have gold damascened bands around muzzles and crowned “M” proofs on left sides of breech ends. Unmarked locks are fitted with flat faced hammers. All furniture is of steel, flush mounted, and of fancy outline. Flared checkered grips have steel caps, engraved with monogram “NR” (?) Stocks extend to muzzles. Horn ramrods have lighter colored horn tips and steel tails, one with worm. CONDITION: Good. Bbls retain a considerable amount of old brown. Locks and steel furniture are silver gray fading to brown. Stocks have most of their orig finish. Bores are lightly pitted. Mechanically good. 52093-3 MGM (1,500-2,000) – Lot 3421
