SN 176951. Cal. 20 ga. 28″ Special steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Chokes full/full. Full length matted top rib with twin ivory beads. “0” frame. Dbl triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern with 13-1/4″ LOP over older Hawkins brand pad. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and steel tip. All visible SN’s match. Engraved in standard GHE pattern. Included with this lot is a PGCA Letter describing the gun as originally ordered. Bore diameter: left -.723, right – .723. Bore restrictions: left – .026, right – .013. Wall thickness: left – .030, right – .033. Drop at heel: 2-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-9/16″. WEIGHT: 5 lbs, 15 oz. PROVENANCE: The Larry Kelley Estate Collection. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain nearly all of an older high quality restored rust blue finish, with evidence of very minor beginning corrosion. Receiver has mostly gone to gray with a trace or two of case color visible. Buttstock and forend retain most of an older restored finish. Buttstock with evidence of repairs at wrist and a grain separation extending from top tang towards butt on left side into checkering that should be repaired. Trigger guard has been re-blued. Bores are excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This will make a great small bore hunting gun!
