*A. FRANCOTTE QUALITY 20 FULL SIDELOCK 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN WITH EXTRA STOCK.

SN 84853. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ fluid steel bbls. Chambers marked for 2-3/4″. Full length matted top rib with brass front bead, tops of bbls marked “Von Lengerke & Detmold / U.S. Agents New York”. Dbl triggers, ejectors, automatic safety. Currently mounted with extremely well done straight grained replacement buttstock that has round knob pistol grip checkered in 2-point pattern and 14″ LOP over checkered butt, small brass oval near to. Splinter forearm with Curtis push button release checkered in 3-point pattern. Full sidelock action with sideclips is nicely scroll engraved in about 80% coverage. Locks marked “A. Francotte Maker and Patentee Liege, Belgium”. Top tang with gold “S” in front of safety. Top lever, trigger guard, and trigger plate are blued. Orig stock checkered in 2-point pattern with five spacers and leather face pad, brass oval in pistol grip with initials “S.W.”, this stock without additional spacers is short. All visible SN’s match. Bore diameter: left -.729, right – .728. Bore restrictions: left – .004 (IC), right – .005 (IC). Wall thickness: left – .022, right – .028 . Drop at heel: 1-9/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/16″. Cast is neutral. Weight: 6 lbs. 11 oz. LOP: 14″. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain approximately 90-95% orig blue finish. Receiver retains 40-50% orig case color, toned at belly. Custom buttstock is superb with only minor handling marks, retains nearly all it’s custom finish. Forearm with minor repair on left side at tip is excellent with some finish added, forearm metal at frame shows some beginning pinprick erosion which should clean. Top lever and trigger guard, retain most of their orig blue. Inside of trigger guard bow with spotting in blue. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics need attention as gun is somewhat difficult to close after ejectors have snapped. This should be an easy fix. 52063-1 (2,000-3,000) C&R – Lot 3301
