*SCARCE ITHACA FLUES MODEL GRADE II 28 GAUGE SHOTGUN.

SN 331203. Cal. 28 ga. 26″ steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Full length matted top rip with brass front bead. Dbl triggers, extractor, automatic safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern with 14″ LOP over orig Ithaca Gun Co. HRBP. Splinter forearm checkered in 4-point pattern with triangular ebony tip. All visible SN’s match. Receiver is nicely floral engraved with quail on right, woodcock on left, and marked “Ithaca Gun Co.” on sides. Bore diameter: left -.555, right – .554. Bore restrictions: left – .035, right – .000. Wall thickness: left – .022, right – .023. Drop at heel: 3-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/4″. WEIGHT: 5 lbs, 9 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain approximately 80% orig blue finish with some areas of touch-up. Buttstock and forearm are excellent as restored and show minor handling marks. Receiver has toned mostly gray, engraving is still sharp. Chambers lengthened. Bores are very good with light orange peel and evidence of an old dent or two removed.
