*VERY FINE HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON MODEL 1873 45-70 OFFICER’S SADDLE RING CARBINE.

SN SA-19. Cal. 45-70. This is a beautiful example of Harrington & Richardson rendition of an engraved silver plated Custer-era carbine with tang sight and metal pistol grip cap. Standard configuration with 22″ bbl in custom blue velvet lined case. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine overall, possibly un-fired, retaining virtually all its orig silver plate with some minor reductions. Checkering on stock is still crisp and stock retains virtually all its orig factory varnish. Casing internally is fine. Lid has staining and large runs in varnish finish.
