*C. G. HAENEL BUCHEL PATENT SCHUETZEN RIFLE WITH WELL DETAILED RELIEF DECORATION.SN 1792 (on bottom of bbl with forend removed). (1924) Cal. 8.15 x 46R. 31″ Octagon bbl, patent dropping block single shot action with removable trigger assembly and hard rubber bulbous grip on operating lever, has two inset silver panels on sides of action relief embellished with buxom maiden holding a target on left, and old Jaeger on right. European walnut buttstock with hook butt and high sculpted cheekpiece, is nicely checkered. CONDITION: Good. Metal mostly gray to brown patina with traces of orig case color on action. Stocks refinished over some marks. Rear sight is a newly made replacement using a large old disc. Bore is good to fine. 51873-18 MGM (2,000-3,000) C&R – Lot 2664
