*WINCHESTER MODEL 61 SMOOTHBORE RIFLE. Cal. 22LR. Standard rifle configuration with 24″ round bbl, bead front sight and no provision for a rear sight, round top receiver, 3/4 magazine, long flat bottom ribbed forearm, uncheckered stock with checkered steel buttplate. The muzzle is counterbored to approximately 1/4″ down about 8″. SN 212394. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains about 95% original blue turning plum over the chamber area. Magazine tube retains about 98% bright blue. Receiver retains about 95-96% original blue with edge wear and minor scratches with some minor surface rust. Wood is sound and retains about 90% original varnish. Bright shiny bore. 4-46564 JR228 (1,500-2,500)
