*WINCHESTER MODEL 61 SMOOTHBORE RIFLE. Cal. 22LR. Standard rifle configuration with 24″ round bbl, bead front sight and no provision for a rear sight, round top receiver, 3/4 magazine, long flat bottom ribbed forearm, uncheckered stock with checkered steel buttplate. The muzzle is counterbored to approximately 1/4″ down about 8″. The bbl has circle “P” proof. SN 178625. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl and mag tube retain 98-99% strong original blue. Receiver retains about all of a factory refinish. Wood is sound with the forearm retaining all of its original varnish, and the buttstock all of a fine refinish.
