WINCHESTER MODEL 1893 PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Scarce early shotgun with 26″ plain bbl, 3-screw ribbed forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with round knob and smooth steel buttplate. Accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying this shotgun indicating that it was shipped August 11, 1894 and returned May 17th, 1901. SN 12020. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl appears to have been factory refinished, likely when it was returned in 1901. Receiver retains about 98% strong original bright blue. Wood is sound and retains virtually all its original bright varnish with a chip in the forearm and small insignificant handling and storage marks. Buttplate retains about all of its original bright blue. Brilliant, shiny bore. 4-46862 JR208 (1,000-2,000)
