UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND RED PORCELAIN BOTTLE VASE.20th century, China. The vase in bottle form with rounded body tapering to a tall cylindrical neck ending at a garlic form top. The body painted in underglaze blue and red depicting foo lions playing with brocade balls. The neck decorated with bands of vines and flowers each separated by a raised ring done in relief. It stands on a slightly splayed foot painted with a ring of lappets with the underside being unglazed. SIZE: 15-1/2″ h x 9-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Very good. 48876-3 (400-500) – Lot 4723
