CELADON GLAZED PORCELAIN PLANTER.

Late Qing dynasty, China. The planter in cylindrical form, the walls decorated with carved vines and flowers above a band of stylized petals and finished with a light celadon glaze. Stands on a squared foot with the underside being unglazed. SIZE: 8″ h x 10-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Hairlines to the base and chips to the footrim. The body with a rectangular section that has been ground down and overpainted. General overall wear to the glaze consistent with age. 1063-2 (200-300) – Lot 4673
