20th century, China. The body of the pot having 2 sections painted with cranes, bats and stylized clouds on a blue sgraffito ground. The top section having the ability to rotate in order to move written characters to coincide with matching characters on bottom. The underside having a 4 character Qianlong mark on a turquoise glazed ground. SIZE: 5″ h x 4-1/4″ dia. CONDITION: Light wear to the enamels, otherwise very good. 49073-5 (1,500-2,000) – Lot 4527
