SEVEN JADE CARVED CLOTHING ORNAMENTS.

1) Jade pendant of awl with human head finial. Probably Han Period, China. Stone translucent gray-white with areas of calcification. 2) Jade plaque with four animal heads. Warring states style and probably of the period, China. Lung form crescent shaped. Deep chocolate brown color with a weathered surface. 3) Crescent shaped jade pendant. Han Style and possibly of the period, China. Huang form. With a fluted body and dragon finials. Purple brown stone with considerable calcification. 4) Jade plaque of a tiger. Probably Han period, China. Huang form carved as a tiger with a winged tail. Yellow white stone with an area of red. 5) Jade pendant engraved with mythical animals. Probably Warring states period (4th-2nd BC), China. Huang shaped, thin, slightly carved plaque. Highly translucent gray stone with large brown markings. 6) Archaic style carved jade pendant of horned dragon. Probably 19th century. Brown jade. 7) Crescent shaped archaic jade. Han Period (2nd c BC-2nd c AD), China. Huan form. With engraved stylized dragons. Highly translucent pale green with brown markings. SIZE: 1) 3-1/4″ l. 2) 3-1/4″ x 1″. 3) 3-1/2″ l. 4) 3″ x 1-3/4″. 5) 4-1/4″ l. 6) 2-1/2″ l. 7) 5″ x 1-5/8″. CONDITION: Generally very good with typical age wear. 6) Worn surfaces & erosion. 7) Two areas of calcification.
