Of round form, the mandala was masterfully worked in silver and gilt silver to depict a central deity Cakrasamvara Tantra, surrounded by three layers of four gates, in between the gates include four guardians, animals, and animal carriages, all against a ground of silver filigree scroll-work; the copper base sealed to the reverse.
