LARGE FAMILLE ROSE TRIPOD CENSER WITH RAISED HANDLES.

19th C, Qing Dynasty period, China. The large tripod censer painted in famille rose against pink ground with flowers, vines, and other auspicious items, the globular body supported by three beast legs, two uprising handles extends from body to above the rim, decorated with ke-fret patterns, the interior in teal ground. Includes original and elaborately carved wooden cover, fitted on top. Six-character Jiaqing mark. SIZE: 18″ h x 17-5/8″ w. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection from a renowned Taiwanese Diplomatic Family – Cai Wanjun (? – 2011), Xu Shaochang (1913–1999), and Ye Gongchao (1904 – 1981).
