Qing Dynasty period, China. A lacquer floor screen with a mirror and carved calligraphy panel inset within a square frame, which sits on top of a base carved with downward pointing lotus petals. SIZE: 30″ (77 cm) h x 25-1/2″ (66 cm) l. PROVENANCE: Christie’s, New York, Sept. 2011, lot 1345.
