The compressed globular body rising to a tall cylindrical neck flanked at the mouth by a pair short tube handles, applied overall with a even pale greyish glaze suffused with network of dark crackles joined by finer golden brown crackles. Accompanied by photocopies of some photographs of Capt. Pearce along with a a photocopy of a “Map of Kyoto and Vicinity with Shopping Directory”, presumably the shops he visited.
