20th century, China. Each jar painted with scenes of figures within landscapes, all done under a crosshatched border accenting the top rim. Each with a domed cover decorated in a similar motif. Having applied metal handles to the shoulders and finials to the covers. Both jars marked on the underside in underglaze blue. SIZE: One is 11-3/4″ h, the other is 11-1/4″ h.
