*ITHACA MODEL 4E SINGLE BARREL TRAP GUN. Cal. 12ga. Beautiful trap gun with 34″ vent rib bbl, dbl. ivory beads, case colored receiver with standard engraving of a trap shooter on the left side and spread winged eagle on the right side. Usual tapered beavertail forearm with push button release and straight stock, fleur de lis checkering and a shadow cheek piece. There is a shield shaped gold initial plate bearing the initials REK and a Masonic emblem and is 14-3/8″ over a brown Herters pad. SN 278504. CONDITION: Excellent, plus. The bbl retains 97-98% original blue. Receiver 95-97% strong bright case colors. Wood is sound and retains most of its original finish. Bright shiny bore. 4-46575 JR68 (2,000-3,000)
