5 MISCELLANEOUS JADE CARVINGS.

1) Cicada. Probably Han period, China. Pale green stone with a large area of russet. 2) Han style and possibly of the period, China. With a chih lung and surface engraving. Calcified green and brown stone. 3) Possibly Han period, China. Surface carved in relief with a sinuous tiger. Stone of a greenish brown color. Round, domed shape. 4) Shang style and possibly of the period, China. Much calcified amber colored stone. 5) Probably Warring states, China. Carved with 2 piercings. Much calcified greenish white stone with large areas of bronze corrosion. SIZE: 1) 2-1/2″ x 1-3/4″. 2) 2″ x 1-1/4″. 3) 1-3/4″. 4) 3-1/2″ x 2-1/4″. 5) 3″ x 2″.
