EIGHT JADE PENDANTS & CARVINGS.

1) Jade Chih Lung. Probably Han period, China. Carved and pierced as a swirly chih lung. Translucent brown stone with a large area of calcification in salmon color. 2) Jade pendant. Probably Han period, China. Carved and pierced with swirling dragons. Surface engraved with scrolling. Olive green stone with traces of cinnabar all over. 3) Conjoined pair of jade pendants w/ swirling dragons. Han style and possibly of the period, China. Carved in the form of swirling dragons with a square section holding them together. Stone of a translucent yellow green color. 4) Oval form jade pendant. Warring states style and possibly of the period, China. With relief carved decoration of a dragon and a phoenix with engraved scrolling. Chicken bone white stone. 5) Jade pendant. Han style, China. Central ring with scrolling animal forms terminating in phoenix and tiger head. Stone of a yellow color with amber markings. 6) Archaic jade carving of a dragon. Warring States (4th-2nd c BC), China. Carved and pierced with body covered in scrolling green stone, almost entirely calcified. 7) Jade pendant of swirling Lingzhi. Warring states style and possibly of the period. Calcified grayish white stone. 8) Axe shaped archaic style jade pendant. Han style and possibly of the period, China. With two swirling chih lung with single horns. Much calcified stone of tan and brown coloring. SIZE: 1) 2-1/2″ l. 2) 3-3/4″ x 2″. 3) 4″ x 2-3/4″. 4) 2-3/4″ x 1-1/2″. 5) 3-1/2″ x 3″. 6) 4-1/4″ x 3-3/4″. 7) 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″. 8) 2-3/4″ x 2-1/4″.
