*WINCHESTER EXPERIMENTAL TF7 TWO SHOT ELECTRICAL IGNITION SHOTGUN. 12ga. This beautiful shotgun was designed and fabricated in 1967. It is a two shot slide action model designed to test the rapidity of recharging the electrical firing circuits and to develop information on the effects of rapid feeding caseless ammunition. This unique shotgun features a nicely figured buttstock which extends to the very front of the receiver. The walnut forearm is designed to slide over the front of the stock. Both the stock and the forearm are checkered. The bbl is 27-1/2″ with Winchoke. The second shell is loaded from the underside loading port like any normal pump or semi-auto shotgun. The pistol grip has a steel cap with a “W” insert. There is a slide type thumb safety on the top rear of the receiver. The slide is actuated by depressing the latch behind the trigger guard. The battery is housed in the buttstock. Factory applied White Line recoil pad. The metal is unmarked except the Winchester research proof on the left side of the receiver and the bbl at the breech. CONDITION: Excellent. The metal and wood retain nearly all of their factory finish with only minor wear on the stock where the forearm slides over it. Bright shiny bore. 4-46738 JR345 (1,000-5,000)
