*WINCHESTER EXPERIMENTAL TF5 SINGLE SHOT IMPACT IGNITION SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. This shotgun features a slide forward bbl for loading and to the rear for lock and firing. Firing is by impact of the firing pin on the caseless round’s priming area. The slide is actuated by depressing the latch in front of the trigger guard. There is a lever-type safety on the right side of frame. Buttstock and forearm are of varnished select walnut with checkering. The pistol grip has the steel grip cap which is now missing the plastic “W” insert with Winchester factory recoil pad. The bbl is 28-3/4″ including Winchoke. Metal is unmarked except for the Winchester Research Proof on the left side of the bbl and receiver at the breech. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal retains about all of its original blue except on the slide action parts. Wood retains about all its original varnish with only a few minor handling dings. Bright shiny bore.
