*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 12 REVERSE FACTORY CUTAWAY. 12ga. Standard grade Model 12 with 30″ plain full choke bbl, small round ribbed forearm, uncheckered stock and hard rubber buttplate. This fine piece of workmanship features full left hand cutaway except for the chamber area which makes it a live gun. The entire action has cuts to expose all its internal workings with four additional cuts on the right hand side. The left side of the forearm is also cutaway to expose the magazine tube. This shotgun does not have factory proofs. This shotgun was received by Mr. Hutchinson in lieu of payment from Winchester for an appraisal of 140 firearms they were donating to the Cody Firearms Museum and is accompanied a letter dated September 6, 1984 stating the same. SN 705673. CONDITION: Excellent, retains most of its original factory finish to both metal and wood with minor handling and storage nicks and scratches and a couple of small bruises to the stock. 4-46911 JR347 (1,000-5,000)
