*PROTOTYPE BLUE FRAME WINCHESTER MODEL 66 CENTENNIAL. Cal. 30-30. Usual configuration with 26″ oct. bbl, full magazine, standard sights, very nicely figured uncheckered wood with straight stock and checkered flat steel buttplate. Bbl is marked on the upper left flat with Winchester logo and the Cal. The upper right flat is marked “A CENTURY OF LEADERSHIP 1866-1966” with the Winchester factory proof on the top flat. On the left side flat, just above the forearm, is hand-stamped “EXP 2 WW”. The receiver has a deep blue finish with light boarder patterns, reminiscent of the Classic Model. SN 3000024. CONDITION: As new. Appears to be unfired retaining virtually all its factory finish to both metal and wood. This is believed to be the only blued frame 66 Centennial ever produced. 4-46768 JR361 (1,000-3,000)
