China. 17th century. Statue in the form of a seated figure wearing a loose fitting robe exposing the chest. Finished in vibrant glazes of green, egg yolk, turquoise, and aubergine. Now set as a lamp. SIZE: Pottery 14-1/2″ h. Lamp 23-1/2″ h (without shade). PROVENANCE: The Webster Family Trust descended from the Rockefeller/Dodge Family.
