Japan Early 20th century. The two-part, two-drawer desk intricately carved with a crest depicting dragons encircling Mt. Fuji. Stands on four carved cabrio legs and has inlaid multi-petaled flowers adorning the doors. Comes with matching ebonized chair with the back rest also carved with a dragon encircled mountain above stylized clouds below. SIZE: Desk: 57-3/4″ at highest x 47″ at widest x 28-3/4″ d. Chair: 36-3/4″ h x 18″ w x 17″ seat h. CONDITION: Generally very good, shows use with minor scuff marks. One applied flower having small break. 50864-1 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 3645A
