Early 20th century, China. The censer in a squat four sided form with mythical creatures around the body done in relief on a ground of intricate waves. Two scepter form handles extending from each side ending at a ruyi. The underside with an apocryphal six character Xuande mark. SIZE: 17″ w x 11″ h.
