Two-sided sign which originally hung outside a payment office for the New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. / American Telephone & Telegraph Co. which were both part of the Bell System. Includes original galvanized steel wall mount bracket. SIZE: Sign: 24″ w x 30″ h. Bracket: 32″ l. CONDITION: One side grades very good with porcelain loss at mounting brackets, bottom perimeter edge and 1″ field chip. Other side appears very good to excellent with some porcelain loss at mounting brackets and bottom corners. Appearance would be enhanced with a thorough cleaning. 1-14148 (500-1,000) – Lot 3616
