REMINGTON UMC 1913 CALENDAR.

Illustration of a bull moose by artist C. Rungills for the Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co. Appears to have a full date pad. Printed by American Lithographic Co., N.Y. SIZE: Sight: 15″ w x 27-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Calendar displays well but close examination and black light shows considerable professional restoration. The top portion of this calendar and in particular top left, appears to be a replacement with inpainting. A strip of gilt paper has been used to replicate the top brass band. There is a horizontal roll crease directly below the image with color touch-up to the white, beige and black bands. The taupe/brown border has been inpainted with a sponge texture technique. 1-14006 (650-950) – Lot 3596
